HERE IS A CLEANING TIP

Never use soap and water to clean your countertops, NEVER! Why? Look the pictures above. This is what soap will do to your counters. Let me ask you this: Would you use mineral oil, vegetable oil, acrylic, silicone, or wax to clean your counters? I don't think so, right? That is exactly what you will be doing if you use soap and water. All soaps have some of those components in its formula. As you soap your countertops you are pushing harmful ingredients into your stone- making your countertops darker and darker, little by little. Soap also damages the components of the stone (such as quartz, mica, alkali & plagioclase feldspar, calcium, potassium, etc.) creating the perfect environment for germs, bacteria, and other toxins. The only protection your new or pre-existing countertops have is resin, which was applied by the stone quarry right after the polishing process, and even water will penetrate resin. You don't have to believe what we are saying, just do a little research on "soap components" and you will see.
